COGY (Pedal wheelchair) for Jaime

  • Great news everyone!!!!

    Last month we applied to the Wilson Home Trust for the remaining $3000 that we needed and have just received a confirmation letter saying that they will give us the money, wohooo!!!

    Will update with a pic when we get Jaime’s new cogy.

    Huge thanks to each and everyone of you who supported us in this.

    We couldn’t have done it so quickly without you.

  • special cushion for Jaime

    This is the customised seat cushion. As you can see on the photo, Jaime is quite small. Jaime's bottom tend to slip forward and right/left while pedalling. Then we tried this specially formed cushion and result was just like Magic! With this cushion, not only Jaime's posture kept upright but pedalling was also steady! yay, problem solved!!

  • seating arrangement, almost done!!

    We went out for COGY ride and checked out the seating arrangement. Koko made a bottom shaped seat cushion and this worked quite well. Although Jaime was not feeling as good as the last time, she kept her posture much better, up straight for all 1 hour! And pedalling was good, too. She usually gives up her ankle movement quite often, but today, it was only a few times during the whole one hour!

    We discussed some final adjustment and Jaime is ready for her own COGY!
