Commemorative Seat for our Friend, Faith

    Thank you to all those that contributed to Faith Dennis commemorative seat 🙏 ❤️

    Some of you may recognise the image on the plaque as the tattoo Faith had on her wrist. It’s the word Saudade in her mums handwriting, with a drawing her mum did when she was a little girl.

    (in Portuguese folk culture) a deep emotional state of melancholic longing for a person or thing that is absent:

    It’s a beautiful seat and place for a rest with a great view over Wellington. The location is about halfway up T4 at Makara peak and is on a grade three walking and biking track if you would like to visit it.

    Faith’s memorial seat isn’t too far away and the plaque has been made. Mike and his friends recently got together for a Sunday session on the tools preparing the site. Even Remy helped! ❤️

    Amazing, we’ve reached our fundraising target! 🤩

    Thank you so much to everyone for getting behind this and supporting Faiths fundraiser page with so much aroha and generous donations❤️

    I’m so pleased we will have a lovely spot to cherish and remember what an awesome chick Faith was.

    I’ve personally found it therapeutic and healing reading all the lovely messages.

    I will keep donations open for another week or so to cover website costs and anything extra will go to Mike.
