We are the New Zealand Men's Epee team who has been selected to represent our country at the Commonwealth Fencing Championships in November 2018, held in Canberra, Australia.
Your support would mean the world to us. Every hit we score and opponent we beat will be partly thanks to your donation.
New Zealand fencers are a tight community and the sport is a passion, not a profession for us.
This means that we do not earn money from fencing, rather, any equipment, travel, coaching and competition fee is a personal investment.
We (Sheldon, Issac and Andreas) are very proud to represent New Zealand. We have been selected because we are the best, but we are also young and cannot meet these costs without help from others.
Our target is $3000. This will help us to meet some of the travel, training, accommodation and equipment costs. Donations will be split between the three team members equally.
Use of funds
The donation we receive from you will cover the cost of our training, travel, accommodation and equipment. What we gather will be divided among the three members of the men's epee team.
This is a target designed to support us, not enrich us.
