We desperately need your support in assisting us to provide life saving life enhancing care to our communities we S.E.R.V.E. in.

Auckland

Last year our lovely volunteer Dave who is part of our S.E.R.V.E. (Support Educate Respect Value Empower) team, offered our charity consisting of 6 services his 2 bedroom unit that he's been renting that consists of two bedrooms and a carport. This space has been well utilized as our main headquarters and resource center for our S.E.R.V.E. Service.

Dave was given a notice to end his tenancy due to the property being put on the market for sale. Well the property sold quickly which meant that we needed to find another property suitable for our community care activities as well as it being a live in situation for our Dave.

So...here we are...., we've managed to find the perfect place for lease which also provides "live in accommodation", and we've moved in. However, our Charity doesn't get financial support from the Government and we're all volunteers.

So hence our Karanga (call) out to our Community of 5 million to HELP US! raise funds in order to pay for at least one year's lease including the outgoings.

We do alot of frontline work in our local communities assisting vulnerable people from our Kaumātua (Elderly) to ngā Whānau (Families) ngā Rangatahi (Youth) and Tangata (People) in general who may have had a dysfunctional upbringing and have in turn repeated the cycle.

These are the people we care about and do all we can to help them with their Hauora (Well-being) in a volunteering capacity.

This community hub will be used as a resource center that will be available for people who are seeking help. We will be able to provide them with things such as food, clothing, household-ware, advocacy and moral support, and facilitate workshops etc... We're not just people who care about the physical needs of our people but also the emotions that come with, we know the struggle of " asking for that helping hand" that does not come easy to some but that's where we help too, mental and health services can be provided through a holistic approach.

Being on the frontline, we have come across many people who have struggled finding real support in our communities that they don't always get. We are not funded, we're all volunteers with big hearts using money from our own pockets which can be a struggle in it's self when we sometimes don't have money to give to our cause. Time is always very crucial in serving vulnerable people which means that there's not much time left for applying for funding, proactively running fundraising campaigns etc......that's why we've created this give a little page in calling for the generosity of fellow people of Aotearoa to assist in fundraising for our community.
