I am passionate about the people of Syria and have recently been presented with an opportunity to travel as part of a group of like minded people. It is a one week extensive visit to Damascus and Maaloula on Easter Time. {Syrian Nights and Days - 28th of March to the 3rd April 2018 } Is a budget yet rich visit to Syria to witness the daily life of the Syrian People and share with them their sorrows and their joys. It is neither a touristic Tour nor a political one. It is simply a chance to know Syria's situation, history and its Kind and Loving People.
I feel a visit will be an opportunity for me to learn first hand what is the current experience for humans of Syria, and in gaining that knowledge, returning to my country (NZ) to share with my fellow Kiwis. There is hope in truth and love!
Use of funds
The use of funds raised are to pay for my return flights to Beirut from Auckland with any additional funds helping with expenses.

Reaching the goals 23 April 2018
A date has been set for my trip later this year. Tickets have been purchased and I am working hard to get these paid off in full before I travel. I would like to ask my supporters for potential gifts I can take to Syria. I have already been gifted some things for children to give out. I would really love to take some kiwiana to share and show the people we really care here in NZ, such as all black jerseys for their rugby teams.
