Connor’s Bumpy Ride to Christmas
After Connor’s Mum, knowing her Son, took him to A&E. In which after many tests they found Connor had a chunk of bone out of his neck.

Connor is a 12 year old boy from Templeton. He was born at 26 weeks and wasn’t given very long. Fast forward to now and he’s living the best life he could possibly be living.
Unfortunately 2 weeks ago, his parents car, which included him, his mum and his grandad, got rear ended. Connor complained of a sore neck and THREE doctors dismissed it as whiplash. After Connor’s Mum, knowing her Son, took him to A&E. In which after many tests they found Connor had a chunk of bone out of his neck, due to the “whiplash” from the accident. After being rushed to Starship Hospital in Auckland. They’re now back in Christchurch, but still not at home for Christmas. They’re also going to need to potentially have another trip to Starship later on in the week.
He has had a successful surgery and now has to spend 3+ months in this Halo, with potential Starship visits
Christmas is a stressful enough time without this going on. Would love to raise some extra funds to help the family during this time of need.
Any funds raised will help with getting to and from Auckland and any additional help they may need during Christmas.

February Update on Connor 20 February 2022
They are back in hospital now fighting a infection and on 6 hourly Antibiotics and will be in hospital again for a few days to a week.
This was caused by the nurses not cleaning out his pin sites properly and allowing infection to set in.
Every little bit helps and we thank everyone that has donated already! This helps with having to take time off work to be with Connor, taking him to and from the hospital and making sure the family at home have everything they need during this difficult time.
