I want to raise money for a Cuddle Cot to be available for bereaved families in Taupo so they can spend more with their angel babies.

Hi everyone,

In July 2018, my partner and I went in for a seemingly routine birth of our son.

Instead, we left empty-handed and heart broken as Connor died shortly after birth.

While in hospital, our beautiful boy lay in a Cuddle Cot - a bassinet that has a cooling system in it.

As the Cuddle Cot had to come from Rotorua, we thought one based in town would be real beneficial to the community - even if it only gets used once a year.

Cuddle Cots enable families with angel babies to spend up to three days with them, making it possible to create precious memories, which is essential in the healing process.

Cuddles Cots cost around $5000NZD but we have an open goal to help with shipping, purchasing a bassinet, linen, maintenance etc.

If our goal is not met, the funds we do receive will be donated to SANDS New Zealand.
