Cookie is a kaka that was found with a severe feather infection and lacking the ability to fly. He has come to us with the hope of joining a breeding program in the near future. However to house Cookie we need to build an aviary big enough for him to stretch his wings and get the exercise he needs to learn how to fly, while he also gets the treatment he needs.

Cookie will be housed at Wildcare clinic in his new home and receive treatment, until he can be re-homed into a breeding program. As a charity we are run solely by donations made from the public, your generosity is appreciated.

The Trust operates as Wildcare. We are a group combining knowledge, resources and time to ensure wildlife have a greater chance to recover and be released back to the wild.
