We want to raise funds to help Cooper go to Denmark and represent Aotearoa!!!
Otago
As some of you may know,
The little legend Cooper was diagnosed Perthes disease in 2020. Since then he has undergone two pretty massive hip reconstruction surgeries and has spent a majority of the past four years in a wheelchair or bound by crutches.
On top of this Cooper also has autism but despite of his challenges he has the most positive attitude and anmazing sense of humour.
This week we have found out Cooper has been selected as only one of 10 people from (Oz and NZ)to represent Aotearoa in frame running at the World Ability Sport International Camp and Cup in Denmark in July this year!
This would be a life changing experience for Cooper and although there is sponsorship from the “now I can run” organisation there will still be large additional costs in getting him, his support people and his gear there.
Any support - large or small will be greatly appreciated!!
Whānau friend and godmother to Cooper’s sister Hazel Rain McLennan.
Airfares for whanau, gear and spending money in Denmark.
Funds to be paid to Jalisa, Coopers mum.
