The treatment Corey needs, Keytruda, is unfunded!

Corey is a small giant. He is a gentle, kind, thoughtful and caring man. He is a loving husband and a dedicated dad. His open mind, his listening ear and his action-focused attitude are his super powers.
Corey and Tess initially met at the age of 15, and 18 years later have built a life together with daughters Millie (9) and Clara (5). These three beautiful girls are being incredibly brave, positive and supportive of Corey right now.
Following the appearance of an ulcer on his tongue, Corey was diagnosed with head and neck cancer in August 2021. After undertaking surgery twice, as well as radiation and chemotherapy, Corey was on his way to recovery. But in October, a post treatment scan showed that the cancer had spread to his lungs.
While this is stage 4 cancer, the spread has been found relatively early so there remains a small window of opportunity to take a curative approach to treatment. At this stage, the treatment path with the best chance of success is a combination of targeted radiation treatment combined with ongoing immunotherapy (Keytruda). Whilst the cost of radiation is covered, Keytruda isn't funded by the government, meaning the treatment will cost Corey and his family at least $70K.
This is the only and best option for Corey right now. There is room for optimism still, and at the very least this treatment will buy Corey more time to create lasting memories with his family. They need your help.
I'm Corey's younger sister
Money will be used to fund Coreys cancer treatments (Keytruda), and any other costs attached - travel, accom, parking etc if needed. Anything extra may be used by the family to make memories.
Quick Update 21 February 2023
Hi All,
Apologies it's been a while between updates, there's been alot going on!
Corey completed his two weeks of Radiation in Auckland without any complications and has now had four Keytruda treatments (many thanks again for everyones contributions to make this available). But in an unwelcome development, following some increasing hip pain a new tumour was discovered in some bone. To manage this he has just undergone a total hip replacement, and is recovering well from this surgery. This will be followed up with radiation treatment to the area.
There are still a few more keytruda doses (number 5 this week) required before a restaging scan in about 6-8 weeks and there will be a clearer view then as to how effective keytruda has been.
Thanks again,
Hope everyone is keeping safe and doing ok after the recent natural disasters
Amy
