Anyone who knows Corrin and Hayden will agree that they were put on this earth to be parents so let's help to make it happen!!
Manawatu / Whanganui
For the last 12 years Corrin and Hayden have been trying for a baby and even though their dream has eluded them so far, and they’ve opened their home to foster children, they remain positive that one day they’ll have a child of their own.
Corrin, an early childhood teacher and Hayden, a dairy farmer met in 2006 and a year later began trying to conceive before marrying in 2008.
Corrin has Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and not only has she been on and off fertility pills over the years, they have also had 2 heartbreakingly unsuccessful attempts at IVF treatment, the first in 2009 and the second in 2010. Unfortunately, it wasn’t until after the 2 rounds of IVF failed that they found out Corrin also has Endometriosis (Endo) which, coupled with her PCOS had majorly hindered both IVF attempts. Corrin then had surgery to remove the endo as well as ovarian drilling to assist with ovulation.
A few years later Corrin’s endo had grown back and a 2nd clear out surgery was on the cards, Corrin and Hayden saw this as their best chance yet for treatment to work so in anticipation they took out a personal loan to help fund a third round of IVF. Sadly, due to the dairy pay out going down, Hayden was made redundant which also meant they lost their home on the farm where Hayden worked.
This was a massive financial blow and during the 3 months it took for Hayden to find work, the IVF money was all but used up on supplementing their unexpected sole income and new living expenses...
Another door closed and yet another heartbreak.
In the last week of May 2019 Corrin had a third surgery which presents them with the optimal chance of IVF success, but they need our help to raise $15,000-$20,000 for the treatment and fast!
I'm a good friend of Corrin & Hayden's and would love to see their dream of having a baby come true.
All funds raised will go towards IVF treatment and any surplus funds will go towards treatment related costs such as travel and time off work.
