Hi all, just a quick update on the little miss. She seems to be having a ball. Her mum has said on the facebook page, her lumps and bumps have reduced and not grown any more, so they have retreated on further treatments. A big huge thank you to all. I will get photos up soon. THANK YOU ALL.....
Wonderful news about Kadie results came back this afternoon and she has no circulating cancer cells in her bloodstream. Heart is beating fine and is 100% clear at this stage! we must have caught it at the right time. We are all very thrilled.
Had a nice walk with Jack yesterday down to our new house. Feeling good and spending some time with mum today, Kadie x
I'm good everyone. My breathing is still going well and I have gained weight as well. I will go and see Christie in another 2 weeks time to have a blood test. feeling good and off for a walk with my favourite person Mum xx
Hi everyone, had an amazing weekend with my family. Lots of walking and playing with my rugby ball. Mum even is wrapping me up warm with these chilly nights. I love being by the fire! I am doing well and have had all the chemo treatments I am going to have now. I am on prednisone once a day and things are good. I still have a good appetite and are my happy self. Hi everyone. Well blood results have just come back and Christie as said they are great. White blood nutrifills are at a bit of a low end of 3 but that's ok. I have no cancerous cells circulating in my body and she can barely feel my glands now. Glands behind my knees are now 1.5cm normal and jaw about 2cm. I will now be on predisone once a day and they will give me another full blood count in a months time. I have come a long way and feeling much better. Thank you again to everyone who has donated for me to help me and mum and dad out. I cant thank you enough. Kadie x

Hi everyone. Today was very good. I had my chemo treatment and all went well. I have gained more weight and things are on the up. All my levels are good and Christie is pleased with my progress. Here I am being a good girl while I get tendered to. Just got home with mum as the traffic is terrible. Have had a big dinner and now off to rest by the fire. Kadie x

Hi again. Well a promising day. I had my blood test this morning and it came back with great results. My white blood cells are looking good and the red are slightly low but nothing to be concerned about. These ones carry the oxygen around and keep my gums pink and skin peachy in colour. All my lymph nodes are under 2cm now so have shrunk even more. Christie could not believe how small they were. My weight is stable. A very good result. I am responding very well to treatment. I would like to do a huge shout out to everyone who has donated for me so far. This is such a huge help to mum and dad for me. We are all very appreciative of it and cannot thank you all enough. I will have my fourth treatment on Thursday all going well. The sun is shining and I am relaxing on the deck today.

Hi all. Yes here I am getting my third treatment today. More good news my lymph nodes have got smaller again and there was no cancerous cells found circulating in my blood stream. My white blood count was fine and I have also gained some weight. Christie says I am responding well to the chemo. Hi everyone, I had a great weekend with my family. Even got given a new rugby ball by Max to play with. Here I am with it. Feeling very good and have been playing ball a lot. Also went for a few walks when the sun was out. My lymph glands seem to be smaller as well. Just chilling now by the fire.. Next treatment is Thrusday. From Kadie
An update from today. The good news for me is that the lymph glands have gone from 4.5cm down to 2.5cm so have shrunk! yay and also my lymphocyte count has come down quite substantially. I was very lucky as another blood count they did for me I had to not be less than 3 and I was bang on the 3 mark, so the treatment went ahead. As you can see below I am now starving so have just filled my tummy. Mum had dinner waiting for me on my return. On the whole I had a good day and got pampered by all the ladies at the vets. No picture of me getting the treatment today as Christie was very very busy. Im now heading to my beanbag in front of the fire. From Kadie x

I had a nice relaxing day today. Watched over mum from the verandah as she cleaned the car. Im now chilling by the fire, nice and cosy. Im a happy girl!
Hi all
Wow, what a morning. Big trip in the car to Takanini. I got to see lots of cars whizzing past me looking out the back window.
First of all I had a chest x-ray, ultrasound of my abdomen, measure of my lymph glands and check of my heart to see I was well enough to start treatment. The positive was that I have no fluid around my lungs, no cancer masses in my spleen and my heart is beating just fine. Mum and Dad were thrilled with the outcome.
I then had my first treatment of chemo which Christie gave to me. It was not painful and I had a small wait to see that I did not have any side effects to the drugs. Christie told mum and dad that I was a very good girl.
Next week I will head back for a second treatment and will have my lymph glands measured to see if they have shrunk a little. (I’m hoping I can kick it in the butt).
On the whole a good morning for me. I am spending the afternoon with mum at home just relaxing and later will have my meal so I can take my antibiotic tablets.

Hello from the big dog, well today I was looked after by Nana (Mame) while mum did the food shopping. I was of course spoilt rotten and had lots of company, tummy rubs and patting.
On the good side the immunohistochemistry (special stains) test has confirmed B cell Lymphoma which has a better prognosis than T cell, so there is hope for me.
Tomorrow I will have chest xrays taken to see there is any fluid in my lungs. I will also have an ultrasound of my spleen before starting chemo.
Mum, dad, the gang and I are all a little nervous but we are thinking positive.
Again I would like to thank you to all the family, friends and people near and far for all your donations.

Ok I've been to the vets, and I've had my tests. Wasn't pretty, but they have now taken my blood, and urine and will have them sent off for final results. I'm feeling a lot better now.
My mum and dad. Don't worry about me guys, I'm going to be just fine. Dads a real push over, he comes across as this tough guy, but he built me this new kennel, laid down the law to the other family members, where I was meant to sleep, and I've never used it. I sleep inside next to the fire. I'm not complaining. :-)
