Courtney's Shave Off

On the 31st of October 2014, I will be shaving my hair to raise money for Canteen. My goal is to raise $1000.00 for the charity!

In 2013, a car accident occurred in Kenya taking the lives of four friends. One of whom is my biggest inspiration, Caitlin. She was one of the most fun-living, genuine people I have been privileged to meet. While at school Caitlin also did the shave off raising a similar total of money as my goal. This shave off is in honor of her and everything she contributed to my life.

As well as Caitlin this shave off is for the heart of the cause, cancer. Various members of both my immediate and extended family, and friends have been affected by the cause. Tragically, cancer took the life of a dearly beloved neighbour.

Through doing the shave off, I hope to raise $1000.00 dollars. I hope the money raised contributes to finding a cure and providing support and hope for those currently living with cancer.
