Covid-19 finds Kiwi John Wallis stranded in the Philippines.

  • We've still got along way to go!

      5 November 2020

Now that quarantine in NZ needs to be paid for by the incoming refugee, our target amount has had to become significantly larger. And every day, the number of infected in John's area increases. Basically, he's in serious danger. Please please help.

  • The Covid death rate in the Philippines is increasing, and John literally fears for his life.

      15 September 2020

Thanks to your donations, John has been able to eat again, so heartfelt thanks to those who have helped make that possible. However, since our last update a month ago, the Philippines has suffered another 2,000-odd deaths from Covid-19, taking the total to in excess of 4,600. In other words, the death rate is increasing, and John now literally fears for his life. Another 1 to 2 thousand dollars though, and we'll have enough for John to get home to NZ, and be SAFE. Please please help. Thank you!

  • Things getting worse in the Philippines. Please help a Kiwi in need.

      13 August 2020

2400+ Covid-19 deaths in the Philippines to date; the numbers continue to rise relentlessly. Citizens there are arrested if they go out in public without masks and face shields. Our mate John is still there, in a most unhappy situation. Please help a Kiwi in need. And thank you so much to those who have already contributed; you're the best.

  • Phillipines still clocking Covid deaths

      16 July 2020

The number of dead from Covid-19 in the Phillipines has risen to 1600+, so John is still not out of danger in that regard, and is unable to work to eat, so still desperately needs our help. Once again, huge thanks to those who have already donated; you rock.

A huge 'thank you' to all who have donated. But we still need more to get John home. 1200 Covid deaths in the Philippines so far, so please help if you can: one effective way to do this is by sharing this page with your contacts. Once again, thank you! Paul.
