I have met Chris in person....

This afternoon I had the pleasure of meeting the very hairy Chris who is looking forward to shaving his hair and his beard and becoming a "Snooker ball" next week.
It was so nice to finally meet in person in between both of our busy role. During his visit Chris had a tour of our shared space and couldn't resist a photo with our collaborative art wings wearing his Acorn Project T Shirt.

Kerrie, it was so great to meet you today and have a look around. You and your team play an absolutely amazing role in the lives of these kids and there families. I have had a lot of comments over the last week about how awesome The Acorn Project is!
I have started keeping an eye on the weather next Friday wondering what sort of head covering I am going to need - I expect I will start feeling the cold a lot more than I do now!!It will also be quite weird seeing the proper shape of my head for the first time.
After the shearing / shave I am straight away off to a Cub camp for the weekend where the Chief Executive of Scouts Aotearoa NZ is paying a visit - my head should be a good conversation starter!!
