    The Ebenezer and MDIS team just finished the 3rd distribution of relief packages and school stationary supplies to the community.

    India's cases continue to rise exponentially. Please continue to hold this community up in prayer and keep them in your thoughts as they face this ongoing crisis.

    If you were thinking about giving to this... now is the time.

    If you were thinking about sharing this... now is the time.

    With one week of this campaign left I ask that you help us give it a push to finish well give hope to this community.

    India now has the third highest number of COVID cases, surpassing Russia... and these are just the ones that make it to hospital to be counted. Delhi is predicted to have about 500,000 cases itself by the end of July. We have another relief package distribution planned for mid July which will contain educational resources for families as the new school year begins with distance learning. Raised funds also help Ebenezer teachers remain employed and serving this community with education at a time when the education sector in India is in tatters.

    As we move on with our lives please do not forget these vulnerable communities still ravaged by this pandemic and its economic impact. Please stretch your hand to those within reach.

  • Ebenezer teachers and community

    Hello Team,

    Lockdown in Delhi continues... COVID cases continue to rise and India is now 4th in COVID cases (behind the USA, Brazil and Russia) and that is only the ones that actually get tested, who make it to hospital. I am consistently getting messages about people that we know personally getting the virus, and while most recover some have seen loved ones die.

    There is no sign that schools will be able to re-open anytime soon. Ebenezer teachers and the community still need our support to get through... please don't forget these vulnerable community members who have lost loved ones and livelihoods. Your support can bring HOPE where there is none.

    The team was able to distribute the second set of relief kits to the community on Saturday! Thanks heaps to all that have donated and to the team for getting the kits to the people that need it... beautiful to see the compassion and efficiency in getting this relief help to the front lines.

    Dear supporters,

    Relief supplies have been purchased and today (Saturday 16th May) the team will be going again to distribute the relief packages to the Ebenezer community.

    Thank you for continuing to be a blessing for this community. Your generosity has eased the suffering of many families who have struggled to put food on the table for our Ebenezer students. Thank you for caring and acting to make a difference for those within reach.

    India has extended the lock down for Delhi for another two weeks. These relief packs are needed more than ever...

    The first round of relief packages have been purchased and will distributed over the next day or so. I'll send some pictures soon...

    Hello Team,

    Good news! We have received a donation from Interserve (https://www.interserve.org.nz/) for $2,222. THis will be put towards the relief packages for the Ebenezer community.

    Thanks for supporting this... it will make a huge difference and is such an encouragement to them that people are thinking of them and blessing them in the midst of over a month off lockdown.
