Craig is doing really well with his healing, still a long ways to go but 5 weeks in and we can see great improvements, he managed to stand yesterday, only on one leg but that's the first time since the accident. There is still concern around his smashed knee we will know more in time.
Craig and I are incredibly humbled by the offers of help, meals and generosity shown, we can never thank you all enough for everything. A HUGE THANK YOU !!!
Just an update from the hospital …. Craig has come thru the knee and foot operation ok. Bit of pain as you would expect as they have tried to rebuild his leg with bone grafts as it is smashed pretty bad.
Yesterday we got told he will have to stay in dunedin in care for the next maybe 12 weeks as hes not to put any weight on that leg at all.
That was a huge blow for us as we were both looking forward to him coming home and wasnt aware how bad the leg was damaged.
Also a MASSIVE THANK YOU to all that have donated money towards Craig's Recovery, it's hugely appreciated and so overwhelming the love and support given to Craig and Kelly, Craig really does have a long road ahead but he will get there. Thanks again everyone xx
