Car crash with multiple different stories from police, hospital and insurance investigators which have caused insurance to be decline.
Auckland
Im a 29 year old Certifying Plumber who own a small plumbing business to which I'm the only employee and now because of the crash I have lost my only source of income - my Toyota Hiace 2010 van.
I was driving to work on Saturday 5th August 2017 and ended up off the road and hit a power pole.
I was rushed to Auckland Hospital with a fractured my left foot which required immediate surgery, fractured right foot, dislocated right shoulder, lacerations to both jaw and wrist requiring stitches and was also in a neck brace.
I was declined insurance because over the full investigation I had two different stories from the police, one from Auckland Hospital and one from the insurance investigator.
I want to use the money that I have raised to purchase a new vehicle to start working again when I'm healthy and have medical approval to work again.
The money will be spent on helping me with costs to replace my work vehicle and tools damaged in the crash to get me back to work. If any surplus is available it will be donated to St Johns Ambulance as they helped save my life.
