Seeking assistance with legal fees, travel and medical costs to get treatment and resolve a long struggle to get medical help.
Auckland
In 1998 I was involved in a car accident on Auckland's Southern Motorway. While travelling to work I was forced to stop when an accident occurred in front of my vehicle. A pie delivery vehicle drove into the rear of my car at 100 kmph without braking. St John were unable to take me in the first ambulance and I attended White Cross where my injuries were not properly recorded. A referral to a surgeon only noted neck injuries and despite my efforts to get assessed full spine, hips, knee, shoulders, arms, wrists, thumbs I was denied proper examination and treatment. It took several years waiting to get scans at hospital with ACC refusing to cooperate. I was diagnosed with a pain syndrome which was used as an excuse not to examine my injuries. I am still trying to resolve this, and currently waiting for knee surgery, and both shoulder surgeries. I am hoping for some assistance for legal costs, Medical expenses and travel costs to finally resolve this. ACC are again fighting every effort to do so resulting in huge cost which I cannot fund as a beneficiary.
