Support for Mia's family

Mia, was 5 and full of vitality and life. She had recently started school and experienced the magic of her first school bus trip. She had also just discovered the joy of wearing a snorkel and mask, (to the local shopping centre no less!) She was her parents everything, their pride and joy.

For those of you that didn't know, Mia had a life threatening condition, Dravet Syndrome, which sometimes caused her to have seizures. She had been doing really well, but sadly on Tuesday morning 16th August, she didn't wake up.

Our page is to assist and support Cherise and Calvin through this very difficult time. Cherise has done an enormous amount of work supporting her local community, within Gulf Harbour, Red Beach and Orewa Primary Schools, Plunket, and most recently Lovesoup, now is our chance to give something back.

Funds collected will be used for funeral costs and also the cost of Calvin and Cherise not working while they come to terms with their loss.
