Providing Trauma/Crisis Support to address the emotional needs of the Hawkes Bay/Gisborne/Wairoa regions affected by Cyclone Gabrielle.
Hawke's Bay
Our friends and communities we link in with rurally and in our passion for all things Equine are experiencing unprecedented trauma/crisis/loss. We hear their call for not just physical basic needs but emotionally as they face the scope of loss, grief, overwhelm, shock, exhaustion. We want to take our gifts that support trauma/loss/crisis to freely distribute to as many of the people and animals calling for assistance. We want to reach all the hard to reach rural communities, and those on the front line dealing with the response efforts. We have planned a 10 day initial road trip from Northland to Hawkes Bay taking in bulk supplies utilising our horse truck as a mobile trauma support clinic to dispense and connect at a grassroots level with all in need. What are our gifts : Our gifts are the First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand Crisis Support© blends, that we will be handing to people at no charge. Totally natural (made from NZ native plants), they are highly potent and gentle emotional remedies that work energetically to support the holistic wellbeing of the person/animal. FLFENZ have already donated 100 bottles of Crisis Support© stock essence to make an initial 7000 blends to distribute to people and animals in distress from Cyclone Gabrielle. We need to raise funds to purchase bottles to make these into. We have already sent in an emergency supply of 150 and we need more. Donations will help ensure those who need can have it to help them with emotional recovery.
Gaia and her sister Shanti are leading this initiative. I am their mother and handling the accounts.
We will spend this money on purchasing glass dropper bottles and the printing of the information to ensure these blends are used to their best capacity. We will distribute as many as we can fund through our fundraising efforts.
