Help fund legal support to secure a court-approved ACC knee surgery and recover losses caused by years of delay.

"Better to be brave and ask, than to let what’s right be denied" Macbeth
In 2018, I fell from a 3.5 meter ladder at work, badly injuring my left knee. ACC accepted the injury but delayed surgery, citing arthritis despite X rays showing it was only mild. Years without treatment have now led to post traumatic osteoarthritis, making timely surgery urgent.
A 2024 District Court ruling went in my favour, but a procedural error by my retired advocate, who missed a deadline for submissions at a critical hearing, has since blocked what I am entitled to.
I have set up a crowd fundraiser to help cover the hourly rate of a medical litigator to represent me at the upcoming review hearings and District Court appeal. This will help ensure the justice already granted can finally be delivered.
I have used up my retirement savings on representation and medical reports to win reviews and appeals, yet ACC still requires one more legal step before honouring the court ordered surgery. They often rely on delay tactics, and without some help now, I risk losing the progress I have fought so hard for.
Anything makes a difference. Please give a little to my fundraiser and help a mate get back on his feet and recover what is left of his retirement savings before it is too late.

The Deciding Factor: Funding the Final Evidence 16 February 2026
We're now entering the next critical phase: securing the specialist medical ammunition with a big funding push to offset the upfront costs for the written assessments from the orthopaedic surgeon and occupational physician as chosen by my legal representative. This is golden evidence required to win my case.
