The inaugural Cat Rescue Wanaka Christmas Kitten Appeal... because it's not just the Christmas Season, it's the Kitten Season too!

Meet Hector from Queensberry, Cat Rescue Wanaka's first kitten for the season, and our first Christmas Kitten Poster Boy! Hector was rescued after being found with his head trapped in a fence. Poor wee boy... but now his journey of a wonderful, happy and healthy life has begun!

At this time of year, too many kittens are born unowned and uncared for. Help us to help these waifs and strays who need vet care and TLC so they can find a family of their own. Your donation helps us to focus on the kittens, knowing that we don't have to worry about having to raise funds too. Many, many thanks.

About us

Cat Rescue Wanaka is a Charitable Trust with the aim of reducing the number of stray cats in the Upper Clutha district.

We are a NO kill charity and rely solely on dedicated volunteers, fundraisers, and the generosity of donors to finance the work we do.

Use of funds

Funds raised will help pay for the increased veterinary costs we face at this time of year, especially for the tiny and sick kittens.
