Crystal Cook - Muaythai Kickboxing World Championship Jonkoping Sweden & Junior Muaythai Worlds Bangkok Thailand

Hi my name is Crystal Cook I am 13 years old. I have been doing Martial Arts since I was 10 years old. I train at Smac Gym. I train in Muaythai Kickboxing, MMA and boxing.

I've recently returned with the New Zealand team (Blackgloves) which competed at the Royal World Muaythai Kickboxing Championships in Thailand August 2015. After winning Gold at the Worlds it now ranks me number one in the world for my age. I was also honoured to be awarded the DPE Cup for Best Junior Female boxer at the Worlds I'm so honoured.

I'm now trying to seek support, funding and sponsorship to help me defend my World Title in May and bring home Gold when the New Zealand Team compete in Sweden in May 2016. I also need support, funding and sponsorship for the Junior Muaythai Worlds in Bangkok Thailand in August/September 2016.

I'm half Maori and half Tongan I was born in New Zealand. I was adopted at the age of 4 months. I am a special needs child with several disabilities. Having these disabilities has not got in my way for me trying to achieve my goals of competing at Championship level. I tend to struggle with my learning in most area due to my disabilities but the disciplines of Muaythai have helped me stay focused.

Some of the things I love doing:

I enjoy chilling and hanging out with my friends, listening to music, going to the beach, movies.

I also enjoy taking photos especially animals and flowers. I enjoy dance. I love Hot Hula (Island Styles) and do Belly Dancing.

A lot of the time I just love chilling with mum and my family. They are my world. Have added photos in gallery.
