My professional and warbird pilot dreams could soon become a reality with your help.
Auckland
My name is Nick McIndoe - passionate aviator - and I am looking for help please to live my professional and warbird piloting dreams.
I took my first flying lesson in 1998, was hooked and qualified as a private pilot in 2001 - all through my own hard work and savings - fueling/cleaning aeroplanes at the airfield.
Studpidly, I did not carry-on with my pilot training but now, at 33 years of age, married and with a baby on the way, I would like to become a professional pilot and gain my CPL (Commercia Pilot Licence).
Also, ever since I first saw a Spitfire fly at Warbirds Over Wanaka 1996, I have wanted to fly warbird aircraft and would like to buy into the CT-4 Airtrainer (pictured), which was formerly owned and operated by the Royal New Zealand Air Force.
The cost of buying into the CT-4 is $3, 000 and pilot training to airline standard is $100, 000 plus - I am leaving the goal open for a month.
I have already saved $1000 towards the CT-4.
Thank you in advance.
Funds raised will be used to purchase a share in the CT-4 Airtrainer and pursue my professional pilot dreams.
