CUE Haven Kaipara Harbour Viewing Platform

We visited Cue Haven last Sunday the 14th March 2021 and the gate was paddlocked.
We goggled Cue Haven before we left and it stated the property was open and closed
at 5.00pm. I now assume this information was incorrect and can you advise where do
we obtain the advice when this property will be open to the public?

Hi Beth & Tim -
We only received your message from GiveAlittle at 3.35 pm this afternoon . We were at CUE Haven today as we had an Open Day for the public from 9 to 4 pm. The information about that was posted on the home page of the CUE Haven website.
Currently while we are still doing restoration work on the property the gate is kept locked and the property is open on Open days and by appointment to schools and groups or volunteer days. Woe havee repeatedly advised google to amend the timing on their page, but to no avail. Their only option seems to be Permanently Closed or the set Opening times . So sorry you had a wasted trip out. We are having a private function at CUE Haven next Sunday, 28th from 10.30 to 2 pm and we will be on site during that time.
