    Hi all,

    I’m pleased to inform you that I have now sent the first instalment of the donations I have received via this page thanks to Givealittle’s prompt processing of my early payment request.

    I would like to thank each one of you for your contribution and request you to share this page amongst your networks.

    The damage is great and is compounded by the rising number of Covid cases in the state.

    My earnest appeal to all kind New Zealanders - we are privileged to be in New Zealand, let’s now help those less fortunate because the world is one family after all.

    I’m overwhelmed by the response I’ve received to my appeal for help. As promised, I have set the wheels in motion to process an early remittance with Givealittle admin.

    I would like to thank all those who have donated and also shared the page amongst their networks. However, with the damage being estimated at $13.2 billion, the fight has just begun.

    Thankfully many NGOs and philanthropic organisations like the Ramkrishna Mission have jumped into the fray with relief operations - see attached video.

    I request you to please share this page more widely to help build awareness around the magnitude of the disaster and the hardships faced by the poor in these areas.
