Help us to help the eastcoast region
Hawke's Bay
As most of us are aware of the devastation that cyclone Gabrielle has had on the Hawke's Bay region, Gisborne region and Wairoa district in New zealand, so many lost homes and livelihoods, and people are suffering.
Due to the severe impact on the areas that have been hit the hardest this has left people no choice but to evacuate there homes leaving everything behind, others are still in their homes living without out power, this is so heart breaking and we are joining together with some amazing organisations in Rotorua, Bay of Plenty to be able to get supplies to those who are in desperate need.
Together with the help of Sarah from Waiariki Women’s Refuge Rotorua Trust, Gina and Elmer at Rotorua Whakaora, Jason and Wayne from Rotorua Aero Club, so far we have had 2 flights of supplies reach Hawke's Bay reaching the Hawke's Bay Refuge, the Flaxmere community centre, and also the Waipatu Marae.
We need to keep these flights up and have more humanitarian flights planned BUT this is where we need your help! To be able to send these flight we are raising funds to be able to help wonderful organisations keep up with all the outgoing cost of sending these flights, fuel and hire.
Please if you are able to donate anything no matter how big or small it would be greatly appreciated to be able to help those who truly are in there time of need!
Hawke's Bay has a very long way to go to rebuild so any support is greatly appreciated.

Hosted a scavenger hunt for those affected at Wairoa Primary School today. We had all the goodies, snacks, toys etc donated by you all as their prizes. We sent packs out to kids at other schools I knew about also. All in all 78 kids, 12 teaching staff and another 15 kid supporters thank you for your donations and continued aroha during this time.
Some of these kids and staff have contributed to a coin collage for Whakaora and the Rotorua Aero Club and we hope to get these and messages to you soon.
