  Tena koutou.

  Hosted a scavenger hunt for those affected at Wairoa Primary School today. We had all the goodies, snacks, toys etc donated by you all as their prizes. We sent packs out to kids at other schools I knew about also. All in all 78 kids, 12 teaching staff and another 15 kid supporters thank you for your donations and continued aroha during this time.

  Some of these kids and staff have contributed to a coin collage for Whakaora and the Rotorua Aero Club and we hope to get these and messages to you soon.

  Van loads of donations arrived in Kahuranaki Trust today, which helped so many families in need all around hawkes Bay region. Today, van load had baby supplies from toys,clothes,nappies,baby formula, female hygiene products, blankets ,sheets ,toilet cleaning products, house cleaning product's an much more . Thank you to everyone for making this happen 🙏 💜 .

  We continue to supply the relief Efforts; this will be a long term recovery process.

  One day last week I had Nethya from S.S.S.I.O.N.Z walk in my door and offer up Doctors who are involved in Disaster relief response work Worldwide.

  A couple of days later ,thanks to Sarah [Waiariki Women's Refuge.   He was based there until Saturday when we flew him back to Rotorua.

  Dr Lad took "leave" from his clinics at the hospital so he could assist us however he could.

  So grateful for the Shovels & Brooms for Kahuranaki Trust in the Hawkes Bay.

  The Rotorua Aero Club flew into Hawke’s Bay this weekend, their planes full of supplies kindly donated from their district to support the local response effort.

  The goods from the three plane loads delivered today, and two yesterday, were set to go to support RSE workers from flood-damaged orchards, and also be dropped off at the Civil Defence community hub at Tōmoana Showgrounds Hawke’s Bay, in Hastings. • Hawkes bay flood relief update

  Hawkes Bay Flood relief update:

  Waiariki womans refuge Rotorua, Rotorua Whakaora & The Rotorua Aero club:

  13 Planes into Hawkes Bay & Wairoa regions in 5 days.

  2 Convoys for Wairoa.

  2 NZCourier B-trains for Waipatu Marae & Puketapu /Rissington/Dartmoor.

  Tomorrow we have 4 planes in the air with supplies for RSE workers and kahuranaki Trust.

  On Monday we have a Trauma/Medical team we are flying in to service Esk Valley.

  The Team will have Medical, Mental health and Psych. Available to anyone needing help
