Coming together to support our Whānau who were affected by the recent flooding and Cyclone Gabrielle.

The damages is extensive, with basics like food and clean water still needed. This is why we urgently need your support to help us provide HOT MEALS to the victims, rescuers, and volunteers involved. To do this, we will be working with other organisations such as Al Kareem Welfare, Agak-Agak Food, Sultan Foundation, Khanz Restaurant, Restaurant Indonesia in Hastings, Fatimah Foundation and few more local businesses
Together, we can make a significant impact on the ground and help to foster a sense of community and support among the affected individuals. Join us today in supporting the victims, rescuers, and volunteers by supporting to our cause to PROVIDE HOT MEALS. Every little bit counts.

About us
We previously registered as Handshake People, and just rebrand our Charitable Trust name to MyFundAction NZ and had worked with various organisations throughout NZ and focuses on being a platform to build up the youth towards giving back to the community.
Use of funds
All the funds donated will go directly towards providing hot meals, cleaning & hygiene kit to the victims who have been impacted by Cyclone Gabrielle specifically in Gisborne, Auckland and Hawkey's Bay area.

Hot Meals distribution 9 March 2023
In Hastings, New Zealand, hot meals were distributed to both cyclone and flood victims as well as volunteers. Another city was also severely affected by the disaster. We extend our gratitude to all those who supported this project.
Besides working on the earthquake in Turkiye and Syria, MyFundAction New Zealand never forget their local whanau that is also currently struggling to settle down after Gabrielle cyclone and flood.
MyFundAction New Zealand had partnered up with Al Kareem Welfare and local community groups to be involved in the emergency response efforts.
