Supporting our local little dairy..
Blockhouse Bay, Auckland
The lovely little local dairy was ram raided at 1:30 ish on 6th February. They have been hit countless times in the last few years. Nothing like this. The whole front of the shop has been damaged and obviously they are losing business while it needs to be fixed. They have been the owners for 16 years and know everyone in the community including my family all personally by first names.
I would love to help cover the insurance excess as the cost is huge for them. Again. Or what ever they need to keep there livelihood safe!!
Little note from the owners..
“Hi Everyone,
Firstly we introduce ourselves as the proud o dairy owners Mr Mukesh and Mrs Priti with two very sensible and supportive children Yati (22) and Umang (19). We have had this shop Aloine superette for the last 17years and we enjoy so much of our job and the people of the Blockhouse Bay and New Windsor community. We work hard 365days a year to give our children a better future.
You all have supported us well and comfort us all in our difficult time.
We are very thankful to both Blockhouse Bay and New Windsor community and are so great full for your humanity.
Our special thanks to Brooke and family who stayed with us all night and helped clean up, thank you to the one Samoan boy who stayed with us until the end and helped the people who were fixing the shop. Thank you to the one Indian Boy who drove past when the incident happened and came back to us straight away and gave detailed information to the police.
Such a nice community we have. A very friendly and family environment around us that makes us strong everyday and inspire us to move forward.
THANK YOU ALL from the bottom of our hearts and God bless you all…
Neighbour.
