Hey guys riss and Ray here. On the 12th of March 2024 our precious girl Daisy, only 2 years of age suffered a fall at Kindy. As a result of this fall, a large brain tumor was found. The fall also caused the tumor to bleed. She has had surgery to have a large part of her skull removed to release some pressure and a small part of that tumor was also removed. We are currently in Starship, Daisy has been put into an induced coma. She is still in critical condition. We appreciate any support while we fight by her side as everything is so uncertain.

Riss is my sisters, sister Inlaw. Her, her partner Ray and their kids have become apart of our lives and with them living not far the kids are also very close. Our kids consider them Uncle & Aunty

Use of funds

The money will be helping them to spend time with their precious Daisy, without having to worry about financial worry’s or stresses such as living costs. Also funds could be used for any unfunded treatments or any other costs depending on what the future may hold for their beautiful little girl.

Update from Riss 15 April 2024

It was a BIG week last week. Our girl completed her first round of chemo, which came with a lot of ups and downs... She started on a high and responded well to the treatment but over the weekend we saw a drop in her appetite, mood and immunity. She began to eat less or nothing at all, she has uncontrollable outbursts of anger and frustration, has developed a few rashes and a slight infection around her line where the chemo is given. But these are all common side effects... The positives are that she hasn't lost her cheeky and stubborn personality, she continues to speak, move, interact and fight this beast more as each day goes by 💛

We also got to have our Boy Vance down with us for a night which was soo lovely 😍 we miss him so so much, this also meant having to say goodbye to him again 😢 but knowing it's school holidays we will be seeing again soon ☺️

It's been a super challenging week for us as we battle through our own emotions that flow from all of this but we are doing our best to communicate our thoughts and feelings to make sure we are supporting eachother as much as possible ☺️ The lack of sleep sneaks up on you quickly and before you know it we find ourselves snapping or crying at the smallest of things.

We miss home, we miss all our babies fur babies, feather babies and the comfort of our own beds 🥺 and need constant reminders that this is not forever!
