Help Dan kick cancer’s arse.
Dan Whineray is skateboarder and TV cameraman who has been in some dicey situations - pushy politicians, stroppy reporters, dealing with high maintenance sports stars - but now Dan is facing his ultimate challenge: kick-flipping cancer to the curb.
Dan had emergency surgery in February to remove a cancerous growth in his bowel. The cancer has since spread to his liver.
Dan has had to take time off work and is about to start a course of chemotherapy. He’s doing all he can to beat this including twice-weekly intravaenous Vitamin C infusions, which are costly but will help improve his quality of life.
Dan’s an awesome solo Dad to his 14 year-old son Tana, a much-loved son of Marie and Jed, and is adored and respected by his friends and colleagues at Maori Television.
Please help in whatever way you can to support Dan’s recovery.
Just like you would too, I am here trying to help Dan beat his cancer. Not only that, I would like to help his dreams come true.
The funds raised will go towards the payment of some private treatments Dan undertakes before, during and after the chemotherapy. An example of that is Intravenous Vitamin C therapy which should complement the conventional chemotherapy.
