Darrin has been diagnosed with pancreatic and liver cancer and has 3 to 4 months to live. He is wanting to arrange his own funeral so when the time comes me and our 2 sons can just grieve and not have to stress about arrangements and payments for his funeral. He’s had a quote for $14500 and that dosnt include his plot for his final resting place. We had life insurance but as I am a diabetic and Darrin has AF heart issues , our instalments got way to expensive so we cancelled them about 18 months ago

Darrin sadly passed away surrounded by myself (Michelle), his sons Kyle and Bailey, Kyle's partner Savanaha, and Darrin's sister Joanne on Sunday 28 July 2024, after a very courageous fight. Darrin had a very tough battle for 7 months but he stayed strong and we cherished every moment we had with him. Darrin, myself and family would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who donated be it family, friends, work colleagues and strangers. Your generosity enabled Darrin to arrange his own funeral and have exactly what he wanted. We are all truly grateful for your kindness. Thank you.
