Darryll Dewes is my father.
He was taken from us on 26th May 2022 😔
He lived in South Yorkshire, with his wife Mandy & my little brother, Jamie. (He has 5 Children, Natasha, Dasa, Glenn, Chloe & Jamie)
In 2009, Dad sufferred a huge Heart Attack. While recovering from this first one, he experienced another life threatening heart attack. A 3rd heart attack within that same year, forced him into unemployment, from his job as an electrician. Multiple surgeries & stents etc over the next year, added to the amass of new responsibilities & eventual hardships they would face.
In 2018, we became aware of a new issue. Darrylls medication for his heart, had ultimately caused his kidneys to fail. Kidney failure status was confirmed, he began dialysis.
On a kidney transplant waiting list since 2020, unfortunately, contracted COVID-19 (DELTA strain, from an Ambulance) He was hospitalised over a month & survived Covid. Dads health status afterward left him bleeding internally, so he was an ineligible candidate for the programme.
Tuesday last week, I learned Dad was very ill.
SEPSIS Caused his organs to fail last week.
Palliative Care team & family did everything to help him remain comfortable. 26th May 5.45am, Dad passed away.
My little brother Jamie, is 10 years old. Mandy became provider back in 2011 & Dad focused on Jamie.
Jamie is Deaf, has Autism & other issues.
The purpose of this page is to help Mandy & Jamie stay afloat financially, while they adjust to their lives without Dad.

FUNERAL SERVICE 1 June 2022
Hi Everyone,
At this stage there has not been any funeral arrangements made. I'm not fully aware of situations in UK, where Dad is. But I have learned, funeral director meeting with Dads next of kin this week to discuss.
Funeral won't be for a couple of weeks, as soon as I know, I will add an update here ❤️
