DAVE // YWAM - MEXICO

Hey Everyone,

Hope you are all well!

Shortly I will be packing up my life and jetting away to Mazatlan, Mexico. Here I will be partaking in a Discipleship Training School (DTS) with a cool organisation, Youth With A Mission (YWAM). This involves taking a break from my work-routine, immersing myself into the boisterous Latin American culture, living with a community of people from all over the world, and dedicating time to learn and experience more of Jesus.

Mazatlan is a scenic and culturally rich city, set on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. The YWAM centre serves as a training facility, as well as a base for short-term and longer-term missions. Some of their initiatives include providing medical care to isolated communities, building houses for the underprivileged, and distributing Bibles throughout the neighbourhood. All done while enjoying the surf and tacos this coastal spot has to offer.

The DTS will run for 6 months. The first 3 months are dedicated to lectures, learning, engaging with others from all walks of life, and reaching out to the local community. Then we hit the road for 3 months on Outreach, travelling to other parts of the world, engaging with other communities, and helping with missional initiatives.

This adventure will begin on April 1st. If you are inspired to be part of this journey, I would love for you to partner with me anyway you can, through prayer or financially. I am SO excited for the growth and the experiences I will have on this trip. As well as all the new and interesting people I will meet.
