David has been selected to represent NZ in Power Lifting at the Asia Pacific Games this March. Please help get him there!

David discovered a passion for weight lifting after competing in several Special Olympic competitions, placing 1st in his division in each competition. From this he was encouraged to participate in mainstream competitions and gained a sliver medal in the Auckland Power Lifting championship for his age and category. This qualified him for the New Zealand Power Lifting Nationals where he broke three New Zealand records and came home with a gold.

Recently he has been selected to represent New Zealand in the Asia Pacific Power Lifting Championships held this year in Australia.

Hi - it's Adrienne here, David's Mum. The money raised will go towards the cost of David representing NZ in Power Lifting at the Asia Pacific Games in March this year at the Gold Coast.

Use of funds

Funds raised will go towards the cost of travel, accommodation, New Zealand uniform and extra training sessions.

Any surplus will be used for future competitions.
