Financial help for the family of David Chaulk, who passed away tragically in early November.
Nationwide
David Chaulk, enormously loved partner of Charmian and father to two daughters (aged 8 and 9) passed away suddenly and tragically after a short illness in early November.
David was a hard-working entrepreneur and businessman, as well as an internationally renowned brass musician, composer and conductor. His girls can not imagine life without their Daddy who was hilarious, whip-smart, doting and never happier than when the whole family were in their onesies, cuddled up with a silly book or watching Chelsea win the football.
David took responsibility for all the family’s finances, accounts and paperwork. This left Charmian free to be a stay-at-home mum when the girls were young, before picking up part time jobs as the girls started primary school.
The coming weeks and months are going to be very tough as Charmian and the kids come to terms with their loss and the huge gap that’s been left in their lives. Charmian’s priority now is to be with her girls, providing emotional support and stability for them as they grieve.
Donations will help to ease the financial stress while Charmian’s unable to work and while his family and business partners begin the mammoth task of sorting out all the paperwork needed to get Charmian into a secure position.
Funds will also be used towards the organisation of a ceremony in celebration of David’s life. Any remaining money will go towards his daughters’ immediate well-being and helping to ensure all the educational and extra-curricular opportunities that David’s continued hard work would have provided and what was most important to him, like passing on his deep love of music.
I'm Charmian's sister, and aunty to her and David's girls.
Easing the immediate financial stress associated with David's passing, organising a ceremony in celebration of his life, and supporting his daughters now and into the future.
