David is in for his third fight against Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. David’s only option for medical treatment is in Germany. And we know it works!
The first time David was given less than 12 months to live following an arduous and unsuccessful chemo treatment. He then embarked on a high dose vitamin C and nutritional diet plan and soon after was found to be in remission which lasted for a year. David then relapsed and this time was given weeks to live He intensified his high dose vitamin C, started a business, saw his sons start school and kept going for 2 years but continued to decline until he was having weekly blood transfusions. During this critical time David was fortunate enough to be accepted onto a Phase 2 clinical trial in Germany using the latest antibody therapy. It saved his life. The Herald on Sunday published an article.
I've known David for 6 years - two of those years doing everything he could to survive cancer long enough for a miracle and trying his best for his sons. Then four years of good health and being a great Dad, Kiwi bloke and friend. The four years came after he got his miracle after being accepted on the drug trial in Germany. The doctors were remarkable, but so is he. Now he's got to do it again. Please reward effort with effort. Thank you.
