Help us help Davina and support getting her dogs the care they so desperately need.
Pukekohe, Auckland
After severe flooding hit the area just days ago, it brought with it Leptospirosis, a devastating illness for dogs. The first to fall was Voss, her 6-month-old puppy, who is now in 24-hour critical care, fighting for his life, as his organs are shutting down. Since then, the unfathomable has happened, Reba has also been admitted, with a case of serious cellulitis. To add to this, Billy has been found to have a serious cut and infection in a paw and Albie is being monitored. Davina’s four dogs, Voss, Reba, Albie and Billy mean the world to her and their young family.
Davina, as a really responsible dog owner (and trainer), has her dogs insured, and at this point it’s at the max.
Please join us, if you’re able, to offer support by donating. Let’s support Davina and her fur baby family, just as she has cared and stood behind so many of us.
If you can spare anything at all, please consider helping with the mounting vet costs, so she can give her dogs the urgent care they so desperately need.
Every bit of support matters.

Mounting Vet bills for critical care for Davinas dogs to give them a fighting chance against this horrible disease
Voss is Home 21 April 2026
Thank you so much for all of your Generosity!
A quick update on Voss He went home last night and has stayed home with a visit to the clinic this morning to check on bloods and vitals.
we have another drop in number this morning which looks as though he is going to pull through.
Davina is now nursing him herself full time at home which means 2 hourly rehydration and feeding to ensure his kidneys continue to work and he doesn't become dehydrated. Voss was starting to get a bit stressed at the vets and he is now much more comfortable at home and taking food and fluids willingly which means he can keep his medication down - woo hoo!!!
Thanks again everyone for your support! It means so much to Davina and her family!
Thank You so Much Lisette!
