Debut Music Album from a 10 year old girl

We are raising funds to support our 10 year old daughter release her Debut Music Album in May 2023 to coincide with NZ Music Month. Please hear her story in her words.

Hi everyone, my name is Aanvi, I am 10 years old and I am fundraising for my debut Music Album. I have released two original music singles which you can find on Spotify under my name.

I really found my voice in March 2020 when the world started to go silent from COVID lockdowns. When my poem Creativity is in you was recognized in an international poetry competition I realised I could turn my words into a song.

Ever since I found my passion for using music to express my thoughts and feelings at the age of 8, it has been my goal to release my Music Album when I am 10 years old. Oftentimes, young people are overlooked in this world. I want to show the world that no matter how young or old someone is if they have something to say to the world then there should be an opportunity for them to heard. With your generous support I hope to make this Music Album from a dream into reality.

My Music Album is titled Emotions and it talks about a little girl’s journey in coming out a closed shell and freeing herself into light. I want to show other young people in Aotearoa New Zealand and all around the world that though our barriers may stand tall, but we shouldn’t let them stop us from using our voice.
