Standing with Dee and Jax
Glenfield, Auckland
The Dalley whānau have had a really rough run lately. After Jacqui's recent cancer journey and major reconstructive surgery, they were just starting to get back on their feet.
Two weeks ago Dee suffered two strokes, and this week things took a sudden turn when he had a major brain bleed and needed urgent surgery. The road ahead is now long and uncertain, and it's not clear when he'll be able to return to work.
With both Dee and Jacqui recovering at the same time, the pressure on the family is huge. Lots of people have asked how they can help, so this page has been set up to give friends, family and the wider community a way to lend a hand.
Any support, big or small, will make a difference and help the family focus on getting through the months ahead together. Thanks so much for your kindness and generosity.
Dee is a work colleague, Elissa is a very old friend of mine and so is their Aunty Leigh!
