Support our Rwanda mission, aiding orphans and a Rwandan maternity unit. Let's bless these children & women abundantly!
International
In the heart of Rwanda, where hope shines brightest amidst adversity, our small team of dedicated women are embarking on a journey of compassion and transformation.
Our mission is guided by faith and fueled by love: to bring vital assistance to two Rwandan nuns who tirelessly run a school for orphans and medical center for their local community . These remarkable women are the pillars of their community, providing not just shelter and care but also essential medical support for expectant mothers and newborns.
As midwives and nurses, we understand the critical importance of access to quality healthcare, especially during pregnancy and childbirth. In Rwanda, where resources can be scarce, every contribution makes a world of difference. That's why we're reaching out to you, our extended community, to join us in this endeavor.
As midwives and nurses, we recognize the vital need for quality healthcare, particularly in Rwanda where resources are scarce. Your donation will supply life-saving equipment, medical supplies, bedding, and provisions for orphans. Together, let's make miracles happen for those in need.
Join us on this journey of hope and healing. Your generosity has the power to transform lives and create lasting change. Together, let's light up the path of compassion and make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Donate today and become a vessel of God's grace in Rwanda. Thank you for your kindness and support.
With gratitude,
Lou and the Rwanda Mission Team
At the end of May, I'll be joining a team of 3 women, all midwives or retired midwives and nurses. Brigitte a fellow midwife from Rwanda, started this mission trip but together now as a group of 4 we aim to support the birthing center and orphans in Muhura, offering our skills, financial assistance, and love to this community.
All funds will be spent on either medical equipment, sanitation in the birthing centre or living expenses for the orphaned children and Muhura maternity centre. We hope to bless these children beyond measure! We will be collecting funds here in NZ and then taking them over to Rwanda to present to Sister Odile Naluzige (one of the nuns of the Huhura-Byumba parish helping to run the centre)
Blessing the many 9 June 2024
Hey team,
Another massive thank you for your gifting, love and prayers. We have had a safe trip out to the hospital, and the home where all the local orphans go to school and live. We have encounted so much need it’s to hard to explain. With YOUR help we were able to give many, many women and children, clothing, blankets, booties, wraps, hats for their newborns and children. We were able to gift into a hugely under resourced hospital maternity and Ed ward. We were able to purchase over 40 brand new towels for the maternity ward, as currently they have none to dry a baby when they are born. You were able to gift into many orphaned children’s lives, and made them smile and feel special. Thank you for trusting us to share your blessings! And remember you can’t out give God, blessings will return to you all!
Much love from team Rwanda
