  • Our mud fundraiser recently appeared in the Herald!

We're excited that our mud fundraiser recently appeared in the New Zealand Herald. So far we've raised just over $2000, which will enable us to drain two of the pig paddocks. That's fantastic!

We thought you might enjoy this clip of Vincent, an adorable baby goat who arrived at the sanctuary in early September. He was found next to a road where his sibling sadly had been killed by a car. His mother had also been hit by a car and injured her leg, but managed to run away. Vincent was quite sick when he came to the sanctuary but after a vet visit he is recovering well. His resilience, after all he has been through, is inspiring. He can already recognize the sound of his bottle being prepared, as you can see in this short video clip:

We still need to raise a further $3000 by 28 September to drain the remaining pig paddocks and the goat area. If you feel like sharing our fundraiser with any friends or family who might be interested that would be wonderful! It will ensure that lovely wee goats like Vincent have dry hooves when they grow up :-)

We're so grateful for your support and generosity, and we'll keep you updated on progress as we clear the mud away!
