As we near the close of our fundraising efforts, we want to take a moment to extend our deepest gratitude for your generosity, kindness, and unwavering support. Because of you, this campaign was more than just a fundraiser — it became a lifeline.

Thanks to your donations, Dindo received the financial support he needed in his ongoing fight against leukemia. Your support helped cover essential treatments, check-ups, medications, and day-to-day needs that brought relief and hope during the most challenging moments of his journey.

Dindo has been deeply moved by the outpouring of love from people — many of whom he has never met. Your compassion gave him not just financial support, but emotional strength to keep fighting.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Your kindness made a real impact, and it will never be forgotten. God bless you all.

The campaign will officially close in August 2025, and we are incredibly grateful for the support we've received so far. Your contributions are making a tremendous impact on Dindo.

  • Dindo will be repatriated back to the Philippines

      29 October 2024

Dindo, who is currently on oral therapy for leukemia, will soon be repatriated back to the Philippines as his work visa has been cancelled due to his health and inability to work. With this new situation, the support we are gathering will be even more critical. The funds raised will not only help with his continued medical needs but also with establishing a small livelihood to provide for his family once he is back home. This adjustment brings new challenges, and we greatly appreciate any additional support that can help Dindo and his family prepare for this transition. Dindo is flying back to the Philippines on 1st of November. Any amount extended will be of great help to him and his family.

  • Faces new challenge of redundancy

      21 September 2024

Dindo was made redundant from work. Within two months, his agency will try to secure him a new job or he'll return to the Philippines, pausing his treatment. We are hoping to help him prepare emotionally and financially to assist him in preparing for his return and to help him maintain his ongoing oral chemo treatment. Your support big or small, will go a long way.

  • Dindo's journey to healing continues!

      26 August 2024

He is now on oral chemotherapy. He's back to work, managing the side effects with courage and grace. His work hours are reduced and his earnings are just enough to provide for his basic needs. We are pushing to rally around him with compassion while completing his work contract until March 2025. The money that will be raised, is aimed to help him meet his medical needs, and help build a sustainable livelihood for his family and secure the future of his loved ones back in the Philippines.

  • Update regarding Dindo's ongoing treatment.

      18 August 2024

Unfortunately, Dindo's recent laboratory results have not shown the improvement we all hoped for. Dindo needs to continue with his oral medication regimen and get a weekly blood test.

Dindo faces the difficult decision of returning to work he already exhausted his work leave. This means, no work no pay. Balancing the demands of work with the side effects and fatigue caused by his treatment will be incredibly tough.

We are deeply grateful for the support and generosity shown so far, and we continue to seek your help during this challenging time. Your donations will directly support Dindo during his ongoing treatment and help him to sustain his basic needs, (paying for rent, food, and other bills and maintaining financial support for his family in the Philippines) .

Thank you for standing with Dindo.
