Disc Golf Wainuiomata Course Improvements

Wainuiomata has its very own Disc Golf Course and we are looking to upgrade and need your help!

Established in late 2021, Wainuiomata locals installed the community's first 9 hole Disc Golf Course. Great for beginners and challenging enough for experienced players the course is free for all to use.

Situated in the beautiful Poole Crescent Reserve, locals have used their can-do attitude and Kiwi ingenuity (including No 8 wire!) to create a collection of quirky home made disc golf baskets https://udisc.com/courses/poole-crescent-reserve-kyaS/photos .

Sadly these have not stood the test of time and are in need of constant repairs due to weather and general wear and tear which is why we are seeking a little help. We are looking to purchase new baskets for the course from a NZ manufacturer which are more robust.

To further improve the course we are going to create signage with an outline of the rules of the game, and a map of the course layout to help players navigate the holes. In addition each hole will have new tee pads installed and signage for each hole.
