Distraction Packs
To raise funds to go towards making activity packs
Nationwide
As seen on the Manawatu Standard and on Seven Sharp:
After being in a car crash myself, where my children were in the vehicle, I found it difficult to occupy them while giving statements to the police and being checked over by the ambo crew. After the crash, that's when I came up with the idea to create activity packs to go out to children at any scene where the police are involved. This programme is currently being rolled out in the Central Districts area. However, I hope to roll these out nationwide.
All donations will go towards activity packs for children who are victims at an accident scene. Police will carry these packs in their patrol cars and hand them out as required.

Use of funds
The funds will go towards all items in these pack, these include: colouring books, stickers, crayons, colouring pencils, felts, jelly pens, plastic pags, pencil sharpners.
