Distraction Packs

I would like to look at doing this in the North Canterbury area and my business colleagues and myself would be interested in finding out some more information. Is it possible to make contact when you can.

The Altrusa Club of Timaru is looking into making up Distraction Packs for the police patrol cars in our area of Timaru and possibly the greater South Canterbury area. Our first step is to contact our local police to find out their needs and the numbers required. Altrusa is a volunteer service club with 20 such clubs spread across New Zealand, all sharing an interest in community service. At our meeting the members all loved your idea of these packs!

Hello Marie, I have new materials here, sticker books and colouring books and materials etc and would be happy to make them up into packs for children in the Canterbury area. I have been buying things like this to donate at times of need, the EQs, after fires etc to occupy children for many years so have plastic tubs full. We self fund, so stocking up at sales is my superpower :) A great idea, and if you would like ongoing help to buy items and make up packs in Canterbury I would be happy to help. Kind regards, Karen
