Doe is doing amazing. The 🫁 have been a huge 🙌💝

This will be my last update as the page closes very soon.

We still have visit to Auckland often for check ups. When doing so, life is as normal, paying bills and food for the children at home. With the added cost of food for us in Auckland and sometimes a motel.

I would like to thank everyone who has made donation for the last time and to those of you who may wish to donate before the page closes.

Big changes since the last update.

Doe is now back at home and our baby Destiny loves having her Dad home and able to play with her now.

He has to visit Auckland every 2 wks for checkups. Sometimes we will get to stay at Hearty Towers and just have to cater for food for those periods. Other times we may need to book into accommodation if Hearty Towers is full. So the continuation of support would be highly appreciated.

Doe is now able to be so much more than he could before the lung transplant. Breath is the biggest difference. We don’t realize how breathing makes everyday things easy. Eating, walking, sleeping, talking….These are all things he can do easily now thanks to the transplant.

We are grateful for this change in his life and the impact that change has on our whānau.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us through this time,

Doe went from doing this 🧑‍🦽🛌 before his 🫁transplant to doing this 🚴🚶🧎 now.

Yesterday he moved out of Auckland City Hospital to Hearty Towers at Greenlane Clinical Center. 🙌🥳Yay an awesome achievement.

This means we can have Christmas together.

    🎄🎁💝

He has apts just about everyday at Greenlane Clinical Center, physiotherapy , bloods most common ones.

There is still a long recovery in Auckland to go but very happy with the progress he is making.

We want to thank everyone who has donated to help Doe on his journey so far!💓💕
