Tiny and pregnant with a broken leg. Bunny would love your help.

Unfortunately Bunny's recovery from giving birth has not gone smoothly. Her uterus was not recovering as it should, and her broken leg was not healing. She went to the hospital again for intensive care, and another surgery to remove her uterus and amputate her broken leg. The puppies were bottle fed at home for a week 🍼. They are now with a very kind, experienced, foster person. We're hoping for the best for the 🐶. Bunny is back home, and adjusting well to hopping around on 3 legs 💕🐇 Recovery for Bunny is looking promising ☺️

The total cost so far is now around $17,000!

Thanks so much for the people who have supported and donated. If we can keep sharing the page, hopefully more will come in 🤞

The puppies arrived through the day yesterday. Two of the three little survived. Mum and babies doing well working around her leg apparatus for cleaning and feeding :)

Bunny is a proud Mum, paying them constant attention. She is also keeping up her own appetite and demeanour :)

It's hard to get pics as puppies are always curled up against their mum, who is caring for them very well. I'll share the couple that I could snap while Bunny was out of bed for toilet time.

Bunny came home from hospital today. She's very happy to be back with her family. She's not very happy about being on crate rest, instead of on the furniture with everyone else. Crate rest is prescribed for 8-12 weeks! At least she won't be bored in there once the puppies arrive.

Her next hospital visit is in 2 weeks.
